Original illustrated logo commissions begin at $3,000. This includes an original single-color illustration in my signature old-world etching style, custom stylized typography, one round of pencil-stage revisions, final digital files, and commercial usage rights.

Yes. Each illustrated logo is original artwork created specifically for your commission. I begin with a pencil drawing and, once approved, redraw the finished illustration by hand in ink.

My work is distinguished by intricate hand illustration, stylized typography, and an old-world etching aesthetic. I am drawn to identities that feel elegant and established, but never predictable — artwork with enough character to be recognized as your own.

Absolutely. I also create custom typography and wordmark-only logos. These commissions are quoted individually according to their scope, complexity, and cost less.

Please allow approximately 4–8 weeks from start to finish, depending on the time of year. The first pencil sketch is generally presented within 2–3 weeks of the project beginning.

One round of revisions is included during the pencil-sketch stage. Additional revisions and creative work are billed at $200 per hour.

A 50% deposit is required to begin the commission. The remaining balance is due before the finished artwork is released.

Once the commission is complete and the final balance has been paid, you will receive your approved logo/vignette with wordmark and the wordmark separately in JPEG, PNG, and vector formats.

Yes. Commercial usage rights are included with an original illustrated logo commission.

Yes. My traditional illustrated logos are generally designed as single-color artwork, but I can create a multi-color identity when the concept calls for it. Multi-color commissions cost more and are priced separately.

Yes. A single-color logo may be produced in any Pantone shade you choose, or I can recommend one that complement your brand.

Yes. I am frequently asked to create custom portraits of beloved dogs, horses, and other animals, and I am delighted to accept a select number of these private commissions. A hand-drawn portrait of a single animal begins at $800, with more complex commissions quoted individually.

These commissions are created as original works of art for personal use and do not include commercial usage or reproduction rights. The artwork may not be reproduced or used by the client on products, packaging, branding, or other commercial applications.
